  • How is the billing information displayed on bank statements?
    This information appears next to the website's transaction on your account billing statement. You should find our name, SecuredShopper.com, along with our phone number on your statement. If you do not see this on your statement, then we are not billing you.
  • I received a warning message that the page is unsecured. What does this mean?
    The certificates in your web-browser have expired. Many older versions of web-browsers have this problem. While a security window will prompt you making it appear that the page is not secure, it is actually a problem within your browser. To correct this problem, download the latest version of your browser.
  • What is an ABA number or routing number?
    A routing number is used for billing your bank account when you prefer to pay by online check. The bank information required for a check transaction includes account name, routing number, bank name and bank address. The bank routing number and account numbers, are printed at the bottom of every check. The standard format is a 9-digit number.
  • What is an online check?
    An online check is an electronic transaction enabling the customer to approve payment. A customer needs a checking account and a valid routing and account number to use this option. It is automatically deducted from their checking account through the ACH (Automated Clearing House) system.
  • Can customers outside the United States use online billing?
    Presently, the ACH (Automated Clearing House) does not handle international transactions. Therefore, ACH only supports U.S. currency customers with U.S. checking accounts.
  • How does a customer write an online check?
    It is not necessary to write out an online on paper. The customer simply enters his or her bank routing and account number in the signup form and our system takes care of the rest. The process bills online checks electronically to the customer's checking account at the customer's bank.
  • Can customers use an ATM card instead of an with online check?
    No, the customer cannot use an ATM card. This would require entering a PIN number to access the customer's account. It is possible however to use a debit card with the credit card signup form.
  • Is it possible for customers outside United States to make payments?
    Yes. Anyone with MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express anywhere in the world can use this service. The only stipulation is for blocked countries. These are not allowed due to the high chargeback rate.
